Seashell Therapy

Find your BEach CALM with Seashells

All of us have in our veins the exact same percentage of salt in our blood that exists in the ocean, and, therefore, we have salt in our blood, in our sweat, in our tears. We are tied to the ocean. And when we go back to the sea, whether it is to sail or to watch it- we are going back from whence we came. ~ John F. Kennedy

We often lose our balance as we are tossed about on life’s stormy seas.

When this happens, we long for a pause, a sanctuary to regain our equilibrium, our sense of peace and wholeness, and to catch our breath.

The ocean is a place many feel drawn to for tranquility, peace and revival.

To stand in witness of this vast and overwhelming power of nature, one realizes that beneath it exists a whole different world.

Moments here can refresh the soul and bring a new perspective.

Seashells have been used throughout the centuries in many cultures as means of monetary exchange, decoration, utensils, and in sacred healing rituals and ceremonies.

Seashells are the messengers of the ocean and hold the vibration of the sea.

Each shell is as unique as the life that called it home.

Connect to the Ocean

Many people feel drawn to collecting shells or decorating their homes with these treasures.

On a deep spirit level it reminds us of our true self and connection to the divine.

We have approximately the same amount of water in our bodies that the earth (our blue planet) has, and close to the same salinity of the sea.

No wonder we are drawn to the water and to shells that carry it’s vibration.

Being from the ocean, seashells carry a beautiful cleansing and flow energy, perfect for use in healing sessions or for connection at home.

There are ethical ways to select shells, such as never taking one that is a residence, and only collecting  few as many become homes again for other creatures.

When working with the sea, it is inherent that we respect nature.
