We fall when we learn new things, such as to walk, to ski, to surf.
Falling doesn’t mean failing. Falling means learning.
To be honest, sometimes when I’m out windsurfing- I get afraid to fall.
Then, I don’t try new things. I don’t improve. I stay in my safe comfort zone missing out on the potential I could become, what I could learn and the fun I could experience.
We can do this in so many different areas of our life.
Stay in our comfort zone- where we feel safe and steady.
But, as they say- life begins at the end of your comfort zone. It’s where the magic happens.
Remember, if you were afraid to fall as a child, you would have never learned how to walk.
Look at your life and see the times you’ve fallen, and see how far you’ve come.
Then ask yourself, where are you playing it safe because you’re afraid to fall?
Where can you step outside your comfort zone?
Remember, falling doesn’t mean failing. Falling means learning.
